New 2008 version of .8cc Profi is here now. This one is crazy, RPM on standard 1/2A combat prop is now 34,300! At least 3000 higher than other engines. This one is also turning Free Flight size prop at 31,300 rpm. This is great news, engines are available right now in Australia. As you can see it is going to work for 1/2A Profile Proto, 1/2A combat, 1/2A racing, 1/2A Free Flight and maybe some RC racing events. The exhaust exits downward and rearward as is common to a couple other similar engines. Weight is 10 grams less than the competition. |

| The VP-30 regulating pump is capable of performing like no other fuel delivery system. It delivers an ideal .25 PSI to any model carburetor from a .15 to a 3.0 cu.in. engine. The pressure remains constant throughout the entire speed range, making the carburetor adjustment easy and simple. Once the needle valve is adjusted, the mixture will not vary regardless of how low the fuel or the attitude of the airplane, thus eliminating rich/lean runs altogether. This is not just another model. This is the Precision Aerobatics Flagship! With over 18 months invested in the design, the Katana MD™ is the first model to be built using the new and revolutionary building technique – PA FiberFusion™. FiberFusion™ is a method of combining carbon fiber, balsa and ply in a way never seen before, utilizing the strengths of the fibers within each raw material, with the end result being lighter, stronger, more rigid aircraft that fly like nothing else! For maximum aerodynamics, the aileron design and construction in this model is exceptional, made in such a way that the hinge gap is completely sealed. This is quite complex to produce: the ailerons fit into the wing trailing edge tunnels and are glued and aligned in the factory. Despite the laborious production of this design we decided to produce the ailerons this way, as it allows perfect aerodynamic flow over the airfoil and results in maximum efficiency of the control surfaces. Needless to say, the Katana MD™ is built using finest grade material, all cut by state-of-the-art laser and CNC machines. As any other PA model here too the two wings are removable with a CF wing tube and a CF sleeve which make the Katana MD™ a compact, durable, and easily transportable model. The Katana MD™ is not an enlarged version of the Katana Mini. Rather it is a new aerodynamic design with the strengths of the Katana Mini incorporated in it along with many new features. The combination of the design and the innovative construction technology grants an outstanding model, which will simply out do other planes in the same size category. The Katana MD™ is a freestyle machine. It is designed for advanced and professional pilots, not for a beginner. In the hands of a professional pilot the Katana MD™ will perform miracles. The RCV60-SP RCV90SP and RCV120SP were designed with the scale modeller in mind. This quality CNC machined engine has a similar power output to conventional poppet valve 4-stroke engines and can be used in scale or general sport models. Models that would normally use a 4-stroke .60 or a 2-stroke .40 can use the RCV60SP, models that would normally use a 4-stroke .90 or a 2-stroke .60 can use the RCV90SP and models that would normally use a 4-stroke .120 or a 2-stroke .70 can use the RCV120SP. The engine still uses RCV's unique rotary valve system - which has only one extra moving component to a 2-stroke and so is easy to maintain. One more benefit to RCV SP engines is the behind the prop starting facility (now included with engine), which allows the modeller to stay behind the prop at all times |

The RCV58-CD and RCV91-CD have been designed to meet the demand from aero modellers who want a quality engine, that is easy to use and is competitively priced. Comparable in power to conventional 52 4-stroke engines (or .40 2-stroke engines), the RCV58-CD is the ideal choice for scale, aerobatic, fun and general flying. These engines are now starting to be used for training. The engine still uses RCV's unique rotary valve system - which has only one extra moving component to a 2-stroke and so is easy to maintain. Its ultra low profile, means the height of this engine is approximately 18mm less (compared to OS, Magnum) the highest point is 14 mm further back which makes cowling much easier than with other engines |
